As a formerly utilized juvenile facility, the property has utilities and infrastruture in-place and ready for use by industrial and commercial users. A new County road services the location. A Regional Business and Training Incubator facility is already in operation with ample recreational amenities available for Park occupants.
Projects proposed for the Tryon Technology Park must only obtain two (2) local approvals: Site Plan/State Environmental Quality Review (SEQRA); and Design plans approved by the IDA. The IDA and Town of Perth utilize an expedited review process whereby these two (2) approvals are obtained in 30-60 days.

And, with the proximity to I-87, approximately 20% of the US population can be served within a four-hour travel radius, plus major portions of Quebec and Ontario Provinces in Canada.
In 2014, the Tryon campus was turned over to Fulton County Industrial Development Agency by NY State. On-going construction at the site is preparing the way for positioning the Tryon Technology Park as one of the State's premier business locations.
